So… who is this Keith Murdoch anyway? December 1, 2008
Born in Liverpool in 1972, Keith spent his formative years in the Anfield district of the city. After a forray into sciences at school and sixth form, Keith settled on his passion for painting as a chosen career path and enrolled on a foundation course at City College, Liverpool in 1991. It was here that his eyes where really opened to the glory of painting, the science of colour and the scariness of complete freedom. Although Keith was showing himself to be a very accomplished painter, confidence was not yet in his makeup and he was surprised to be offered a place on the then highly prized Fine Art degree course at Preston Polytechnic (quickly renamed University of Central Lancashire after the UK educational shake-up of summer 1992)… more to come
